Lisa Davenport

Founder

Lisa is the owner and clinical director of Pivotal Occupational Therapy. Lisa graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2010.

Lisa also has an interest in community and population health, which developed following an opportunity to volunteer as an Occupational Therapist in Cambodia in 2013. This has led Lisa to further her studies and complete a Masters of International and Community Development with Deakin University in 2018.

Lisa spent the early part of her career working in the public health system in regional Victoria in a variety of roles including acute care; inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation; and community occupational therapy. Lisa discovered her passion for community occupational therapy because she realised that the greatest difference she could make as an Occupational Therapist, was to work with people to achieve their functional goals in their own home and community environments. Lisa has experience providing OT to adults and older adults with a range of varying conditions, predominantly neurological along with other conditions such as orthopedic, amputees and general health conditions that impact an individual’s engagement in meaningful daily activities.

Lisa’s main role involves business development and client relations to ensure the smooth operation of the business. Lisa still maintains a small clinical caseload as she enjoys working with her clients to achieve outcomes for them that make a difference to their overall quality of life. Lisa also spends time working closely with her team to ensure they are mentored and guided in a way to ensure great outcomes both personally and professionally.

When not running the business, Lisa enjoys keeping fit and active, going to see live music and spending quality time with family and friends.
